Saturday, March 24th - Join Obsession Sportfishing Charters and many other exhibitors at the Western Maine Fly Fishing Expo . We'll be providing info on our Maine and Southwest Florida saltwater light tackle and fly fishing charters. Expo write-up: Come join with fellow fly fishermen. Throughout the day there will be demonstrations on fly tying, rod building, photography, stream entomology, strategies and techniques for trout, salmon, bass, striped bass and other types of fishing. Date: March 24, 2012 Time: 9:30-4:00 Where: The Bethel Inn, Bethel Maine Cost: $5 per person / Children 15 and under Free

Saturday, March 31st and Sunday, April 1st - Obsession Sportfishing Charters be doing three seminars on; Giant Tarpon and other Southwest Florida Fishing at the 32nd Annual State-of-Maine Sportsman's Show. Saturday, March 31st at 1pm, again at 3pm and Sunday, April 1st at 12pm Capt. Dave Pecci will do in-depth multimedia presentations on fishing Punta Gorda, Pine Island, Boca Grande and Gasparilla Island. Enter a door prize drawing for a one-day tarpon charter including two night's accommodations with Capt. Dave and transportation to and from the Ft. Myers Airport. The seminars are free for those attending the Sportsman's Show.

Wednesday evening April 4th - Obsession Sportfishing Charters will do a presentation on Maine striped bass fishing for the Penobscot Fly Fishers Club. We'll be discussing proven fly fishing tactics for catching big striped bass on the Kennebec River. We'll also provide information on the current condition of the East Coast striped bass stock. The event is open Penobscot Fly fisher members and their guests. The meeting starts at 5 pm with a social hour then a meal at 6pm and then the striped bass presentation including a questions and answer session to close the evening.
