Used Fishing Gear For Sale

Obsession Charters.Com has changed greatly since it was first posted in 1993. The site is currently getting over 20,000 hits per month. The latest improvements include downloadable videos, info on area attractions and accommodations, testimonials, and a Fish Log (Flog). The new "Flog" will have fishing reports, news and opinions on fisheries issues, and If you catch a big fish, break a rod or heaven forbid fall overboard while fishing with me you can bet it will get written up! Guest entries for the "Flog" and testimonials are welcomed. Just send them to me at dave@obsessioncharters.com and I'll post them on the site.

I'm constantly striving to provide a top-notch quality outdoors experience. Part of this quality experience comes from having the latest and most innovative fishing gear available. I believe that the person that has the most toys wins but I have some non-current perfectly good fishing gear that just doesn't get used. I'm offering them for sale at really good prices. The web site has a "Gear For Sale" page

Groundfish

Additional groundfish harvest reductions will go into effect this May. As for the recreational sector only modest changes are planned. On the commercial side however major cuts are once again forcing fisheries managers to look at ways to try to keep the fisherman working. While some individual species recover others continue to decline.  Shifting fishing effort from one species to another only seems to magnify the problem. Who knows where this will all lead but the talk of individual fishing quotas and sector allocations are being looked at with renewed interest.
